Am 7. November 2023 begab sich die Klasse 03FV11 der Friedrich-Ebert-Schule, begleitet von Englischlehrer René Prokop, auf eine inspirierende Reise zur Formnext nach Frankfurt am Main. Die Messe, die vom 7. bis 10. November ihre Tore öffnete, präsentierte wegweisende additive Fertigungstechnologien, die einen vielversprechenden Weg für eine produktivere und nachhaltigere industrielle Zukunft aufzeigen.
Die Messe spiegelte die fortschreitende Transformation zu einer digitaleren, effizienteren und nachhaltigeren Industrie wider. Die zentralen Trends, darunter ein höherer Reifegrad, die verstärkte Integration in Fertigungslinien, Automatisierung sowie innovative Fertigungstechnologien, standen im Fokus. Besonderes Augenmerk lag dabei auf dem übergeordneten Metatrend der Nachhaltigkeit, der sich nicht nur bei den Besuchern und Ausstellern, sondern auch in den hochkarätigen Vorträgen widerspiegelte.
Mit 859 Ausstellern, von denen beeindruckende 59% international vertreten waren, erreichte die Formnext 2023 erneut beeindruckende Rekordzahlen. Die Vielfalt der Anwendungen im Bereich Additive Manufacturing wurde eindrucksvoll in verschiedenen Branchen wie Medizintechnik, Automobil- und Maschinenbau, Architektur, Luft- und Raumfahrt sowie vielen anderen präsentiert
Die Hersteller industrieller 3D-Drucker beeindruckten durch die Vorstellung neuer Dimensionen, darunter roboterbasierte 3D-Druck-Systeme für Kunststoffe und metallische Bauteile. Im Nano-Bereich präsentierten Aussteller innovative Lösungen für den 3D-Druck von Elektronikbauteilen.
Die Innovationskraft der Formnext manifestierte sich besonders in den präsentierten Technologien, sowohl von etablierten Größen als auch von aufstrebenden Unternehmen. Das Rahmenprogramm der Formnext 2023 war so facettenreich wie nie zuvor und umfasste Anwendungen von der Automobil- bis zur Bauindustrie. Das Konferenzkonzept behandelt spannende Themen wie Nachhaltigkeit, Cybersecurity und Investitionen. Die hohe Internationalität der Messe, mit 50% internationalen Besuchern, unterstreicht ihre weltweit führende Position als Leitmesse der Additiven Fertigung.

On November 7, 2023, the class 03FV11 from the Friedrich-Ebert-Schule, accompanied by English teacher René Prokop, embarked on an inspiring journey to Formnext in Frankfurt am Main. The trade fair, which opened its doors from November 7 to 10, showcased groundbreaking additive manufacturing technologies that point towards a promising path for a more productive and sustainable industrial future.
The fair reflected the ongoing transformation towards a more digital, efficient, and sustainable industry. Key trends, including increased maturity, enhanced integration into production lines, automation, and innovative manufacturing technologies, took center stage. Special attention was given to the overarching trend of sustainability, evident not only among visitors and exhibitors but also in the high-profile presentations.
With 859 exhibitors, an impressive 59% of whom were international, Formnext 2023 once again achieved remarkable record numbers. The diversity of applications in the field of additive manufacturing was impressively demonstrated across various industries such as medical technology, automotive and mechanical engineering, architecture, aerospace, and many others.
